The Tiger's or Tiger's Leap point is a
popular tourist attraction in Lonavala and provides spectacular views of the
valley. Looking closely, you can see an image of a tiger attempting to leap
across the gorge, which is why the point of view has received its name. This
has a drop of over 650 m, and offers you a view that will fascinate you with
depth.
A further highlight of this point is the
echo created by rocks falling into the crevasse.
During monsoon.a small natural waterfall
is built near this point. It serves the function of relaxing in the water
better than bushy dam, as the force of fall is higher. The site is frequented
by numerous tourists for indulging in adventure likerafting activities, when
