Mussoorie is a hill station that
originates from the fairy tales. Saying to be an extinct volcano, Gun Hill is
Mussoorie's second highest mountain. It's one of the lovely places to get rid
of all life's sorrow and loneliness. The scene from the top of this hill is a
panoramic view of the snowclad Himalayan ranges right next to the vast Doon
Valley, and a complete view of Mussorie's hill station.
Gun Hill is a popular location among photographers and visitors to the Himalayas because it offers a 360 view of the Himalayan stages, particularly the Bunderpunch, Srikantha, pithwara and Gangotri group, etc. Gun point now has a water reservoir of the Mussorie City, however all through pre-independence days, there has been a gun mounted in this pinnacle. The Gun was fired at midday to allow humans to adjust their watches. This is a very amazing tourist spot. Let's explore this area, and experience it more.
