If we have money in the twenty-first century, we can get anything. Technology has progressed to the point that we can build exact replicas of everything, and they are difficult to detect. As a result, we are willing to pay a greater price for organic food, veggies, and milk. Only a few farms guarantee product purity. One of these is Sid's Farm.

According to Kishore:
“I decided to quit my job and return to my agricultural roots. Moving back to Hyderabad, I realized that there were limited options for affordable, unadulterated milk. I wanted to bring a change not only for my son and my family but also for the people of Hyderabad. “
He was inspired to develop his own dairy farm and milk brand as a result of this. He purchased 20 cows from Coimbatore in 2012 and established a dairy farm near Hyderabad. Kishore began delivering milk directly to city residents on a subscription basis, and his business grew. Sid's Farm (named after Kishore's son Siddharth) was formally registered in 2016. The brand now employs 120 people and delivers milk to over 10,000 consumers every day, with a revenue of Rs 44 crore last year.
Nothing is impossible with hard work, commitment and dedication.
In an exclusive conversation with SMBStory, Kishore describes Sid's Farm's journey and business model.
According to the interview, Kishore had to overcome numerous obstacles in order to start his own dairy farm. Due to a limited budget, the first few years were difficult. They were producing milk, processing it, packing it, and delivering it to our clients' doorsteps. All three of the aforementioned tasks were operationally demanding and necessitated significant time and financial inputs. Because most people's days begin with chai or coffee, milk should arrive by 6 a.m. As a result, they had to milk cows at 4 a.m. However, as demand grew, they had to keep pushing back the time for milking the cows, which was difficult to keep up with.
Kishore and his team were at a crossroads because they had just purchased a tiny chilling/pasteurization plant. In 2018, they created a permanent production facility after obtaining bank financing.
What distinguishes Sid's Farm milk from that of other farms:
The majority of brands do not provide dairy products from cows or buffalos individually. As a result, Sid's Farm expanded its product line to include whole cow's milk, whole buffalo's milk, skim milk, cow's butter, cow's ghee, buffalo's butter, buffalo's ghee, cow's curd, buffalo's curd, cow's curd, buffalo's curd, and natural paneer.
Sid's Farm's Subscription Model:
Millennial parents, or any parents with children, as well as health-conscious individuals who want to consume unadulterated pure milk, are the target clientele.
In Kishore's words:
“As a D2C brand, we primarily sell our milk through our app. Customers can subscribe to our products for a whole month or a few days. We follow a postpaid model for the subscription but this month, we are moving to a prepaid model.”
Sid's Farm has partnered with over a hundred stores in both the general and modern trade categories. BBDaily/Big Basket, Supr Daily, Swiggy, Dunzo, Amazon, Qubag, and other applications also carry our products.
Sid's Farm's Long-Term Strategy:
They intend to expand our product portfolio with new categories. They intend to expand the number of districts and cities in and around Hyderabad and Bengaluru this year. We also intend to raise venture capital money in the near future to fund our expansion objectives.
