Rashtrapati Bhavan serves the president's favourite dishes.

When President Droupadi Murmu was the Governor of Jharkhand, she requested that the chefs at Ranchi Raj Bhavan include Odio food on the menu for VIPs. Her residence, Rashtrapati Bhavan, has added her favourite Odia cuisine to the menu now that she is the President of India.

This includes her favourite dish, "Pakhala," which is cooked rice that has been fermented with spices and water. The Rashtrapati Bhavan menu will also include dishes like Sajana Saga, which is made of drumstick leaves, and Aloo Bharta, a mashed potato dish.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan, her home, kitchen will be used to prepare these meals. Vegetarian President Droupadi Murmu avoids eating onion and garlic. So, a new menu has been created with her culinary preferences in mind. Shakyamuni, the sister-in-law of President Doupadi Murmu, shared this interesting fact. Bengali delicacies were added to the menu while President Pranab Mukherjee was in office. And now Rashtrapati Bhavan's menu will include dishes from Odisha.
